Infant gaviscon help

LO has developed reflux and been prescribed infant gaviscon. We're bf so mixed it up with water and tried to syringe it in but he refused to swallow and spat it all out. Thought about a bit to get him to swallow but it says if mixing with milk it should be a full feed. I haven't got time to fully express every feed and don't know what to try.

I had the exact same trouble, wouldnt take it off a syringe, or a spoon or a cup...he did take it through a teat once or twice but nothing worked for us and I couldn't do the screaming and vomit any longer and put him onto formula :(

I hope you have more success!

Thanks for bump and tips. Gonna try and ask pharmacist for advice today too. I hadn't realised it was reflux- I thought the screaming abs suddenly developing sickyness was normal till LO vomited on the dr!
