DD is 4.5 and has been fine, no bugs, colds or anything. On Thursday she vomited in her sleep, I tried to wake her and couldn't eventually woke her and she was insistent she hadn't been sick, after the bath she was chirpy and perky like nothing had happened, excited to be awake in the night. Fine Friday, Saturday and suddenly on Sunday she said 'I am hot', went pale, was sick then instantly was fine, ate supper, bath and bed. Monday morning was perkier than every. Today she went to school, according to her teacher she had her best day since starting. She had a snack and drink and then post supper she was hot, vomited and was back to perky again.

No other signs of being ill but has had a constant achey belly for months.

Any ideas.

DS2 last night also said "I am hot" then promptly vomited everywhere. Running around quite happily before and after and been to school fine today.

Possibly just a bug with your DD, but belly ache for months might suggest a food intolerance? Maybe try keeping a food diary to find a link.
