vomit baby- what's normal?

I've never had a vomit bug baby before!

ds2 (nearly 8 months) is poorly, all clammy and grotty and sleepy and he keeps being sick but it is all foamy and yellow, really foamy with a teeny bit of liquid. Is that normal? Wet nappy this morning but he has not fed at all yet today (but did at night). the others avoidd vomit bugs til at least 2.

That sounds like he is vomiting up bile now, I'd be inclined to phone GP/OOH for advice.

I wondered about bile. Poor baby. Asleep now. I guess a call to 111 can't hurt.

waiting for a call back from the Dr but NHS 111 woman said he would most likely ask us to come in to OOH. Dh out with the car and the big ones but he should be back around 12.30 so we can go this afternoon. Poor baby, more bile. lots of it, then I persuaded him to feed for first time today and it came straight back up. Constipated at the other end so the poor boy must be wondering what on earth is going on. Drifting off for another sleep.

Just got home! Out of hours sent us up to the ward who kept us until he showed he could keep something down even if it was just rehydration sachets. Rehydration stuff is the only thing he has managed to keep down but at least we are home with supplies! We've got 48 hours open access to the ward so we can go right back in if we need to.
