Dd has beautiful and small, close fitting baby teeth.
Her front 4 teeth are all loose top and bottom, but the bottom adult teeth are through, behind the wobbling baby teeth. I understand this is referred to as sharks teeth.

How long do teeth wobble for? Her bottom ones have been 7-8 weeks now.
I'm worried that the adult teeth aren't in correct position.

Obviously I should go to dentist, but I'm interested in timescales too.

yes. My youngest has several of these. The dentist isn't worried. He says they'll come out in the end. A couple of them have recently fallen out, I think there's about 2 left now.

My son is 12

DD1 had this, and DD2 has at the moment! DD1's teeth came out after about 3-4m and the adult teeth moved forward to fill the gap.

DD2 is 2 months and counting so far. Dentist has offered to take them out if they haven't come out in a month or so.

They have to keep wobbling them though, if you don't then the gum can almost re set around the milk tooth and it's much more painful to loosen it again. I have to keep reminding DD2!

Ok so about another four weeks before seeing dentist sounds good.
And I will nag to wobble. And maybe give her apples again!

Do the adult teeth move into the gap? It seems they are a long way back in comparison. She already has an overbite with her baby teeth. It will be very pronounced if they don't move forward....

Dd also had this for what seemed like for ever, dentist was never worried. It was me that hated it has the baby teeth were push out of place and ended up looking like fangs. Really did spoil her lovely smile so was happy when they fell out.

They move really quickly! Ds2's baby tooth finally fell it on Friday night, and his big tooth that was behind h come forward already, and is almost in line with the rest of his teeth!

DS had this with his bottom teeth for about 4 months. Dentist wasn't at all worried. The new teeth behind looked seriously crooked, but straightened out once the baby teeth had gone.

The first two teeth came out after about four months.

He then had a batch of three wobbly teeth that were wobbly for about 3 months until they all got smashed out in one go when he was hit in the face at school!

1st tooth just came out! But not the shark tooth one, the one next to it!
Taking this as a good sign that the shark tooth's neighbour at least is pushing up in the right place.

It really bled! I was surprised. She is very very excited!
