DD is almost 12, over the past few months she has started developing breasts and pubic hair but no periods yet.
We do have a week a month where she gets really spotty and ragey which is very similar to PMT Confused.
Now for the last week she keeps getting bellyache on and off she can be fine all day and then get a sudden ache but the odd thing is her boobs suddenly swell when she gets the ache, tis very odd and I mean really swell.
I know she hasn't started her periods yet and she is very prepared and we talk about them a lot so hasn't started and not told me.
Any idea before I take her to doc's?

my dd is the same age and sounds around about the stage. She too seems to have a sore tummy on and off and i suppose i figured it was evrything in there just getting ready. Cant be sure about the swelling thing though as she would rather die than let me look! happy to talk about stuff just not look Grin

I would not take her to GP - this sounds like everything will start in a couple of months max - probably sooner.

Just treat the symptoms with paracetamol and hot water bottles and TLC and chocolate Grin, make sure she understands this is like a dressed rehearsal for the Big Event.

Ahhhh thankyou both. I thought as much she is just still a very young almost 12 year old I often have to tell her she really shouldn't be walking around naked in front of all and sundry anymore!
She has recovered again now lol.
