DD has ringworm. :(
Can anyone tell me what to expect and how long it can last? Seems to be spreading rapidly.
Thanks.

Ds hasn't had it...yet.. but children at work have (am a Nursery teacher), you can get a cream from the chemist which will clear it up. It never seems to be there too long if treated properly. It's really common too, especially in younger children as they like to get close to each other. Hope it clears up soon for her.

Sunshine is good for this, helps stop the spread, as it's a fungal disease which likes moist warm places. If it's in a suitable location, then strip off the DC and expose to some sunshine. Also tea tree oil/cream etc. can be useful, and any antifungal creams, see GP or pharmacist.

Got some blue canesten cream from GP.
Keep finding new patches all the time. Feel like I just want to smother her all over in it!
Will make good use of current sunshine too.
Thanks.

My eldest son had this was licked by a puppy. I used tea tree oil manuka high strength honey and natural yoghurt. The doctor wrongly said it was impetigo not even even on the hands did give him anti biotics not sure if they helped that much.
Boots do an anti fungal so chemist is a good place to start..
