Hoarse baby

Hi folks

My DS (8mths) is hoarse after a particularly badly screamy week - mostly down to teething and the inevitable falls that come with trying to pull up on everything! He's got no cold type symptoms and is eating well and happy, but his cry sounds awful! All scratchy and pitiful. Is there anything I can give him to help soothe it? Obv not honey, but any other ideas?
