6 week check

Rang my gp today as my little boy is 7 weeks today and i still havent had my 6 week check. Apparently 'they dont send the letters' which is fair enough and she checked computer and said one hadnt been made/sent from whereever. So she booked me an appointment for 9th fed but my little boy will be 9 weeks then. Does it make a difference? I also havent recieved any letter for his 8 week injections and mentioned this to the receptionist and she asked if hv had said he should come for them - i said "yeh but its in his red book to that he should have them at 8 weeks" so she told me to bring him down to baby clinic when he's8 weeks.

I'm a bit worried now - will he be ok having his injections before his 6 week check? Also does anyone know who i can ring to see why he hasnt recieved any of these letters?

It doesn't really matter. tbh if you have any worries you can see a hv before then.

I know it's frustrating. DD isn't on the list for jabs so everytime I have to call up and book independently. I'd hear other mums saying dc had had theirs and realise dd was behind. I have called county hall and keep being told dd is on the list but she's still not getting letters! grrr

not all places send letters out.
it's up to you to make the appointments

it really doesn't matter though, you shouldn't worry about it.
