has anyone else's baby had to have an op to remove a sinus?

DD was born with a little hole in her neck which is apparently a sinus which should have closed whilst she was in the womb. We've just been told she'll need an operation under general anaesthetic to remove it. She is 11 months old, and will probably have the op in about 4 months time. Has anyone else been through this or similar? Just wondering what to expect. Obviously I am really upset and worried, but I guess that's normal.

Thanks for any feedback

Hi. Sorry cant help but maybe just post a thread with a more general title asking if anyone's child has had an op with GA at that age and I'm sure you'll get more replies.
