hmmmmm.

dd(10) has just got out of the bath. On her legs from her knees up she has lots and lots and lots of discrete pink spots, some on her tummy too. They feel a bit rough, , but not at all like pimples. She says they are slightly itchy but she feels fine. They look like a viral type thing but what????

Shes not had the pox, if its the pox then its a strange way to start isn't it? not had a sore throat or skin infection or anything all recently.

she does get heat rash on her tummy/chest but it doesnt look like that all. The spots are very well defined. dh says her bath water was really cool too.

not bites far, far, far too many.

they are the same
it looks like early chickenpox in the size and the way the spots are very individual. if there were fewer and started on her tummy rather than an instant gazillion around her legs then I'd say it was the pox.

going for another look and a dose of piriton before she goes to sleep.

Ds has had this lately - only on his bottom and thighs really. and a few elsewhere.

They didn't turn into anything. It's quite odd. I think he is being bitten, maybe the cat has been on his bed.

Or something from the garden.
