How to follow Beast Quest

We're reading the Beast Quest books to our 6yo DS1. He can read a bit but not enough to read a chapter book, and we're reading aloud to take the pressure off him to read and keep it a nice thing. He's totally hooked on Beast Quest (on about number 12 at the moment). I know there are 36 but it is never too soon to ask: how to follow them?

Does he like Bionicles? My DS loved the books (which I've never seen in a shop but you can get them from Amazon) and they are a similar level of plot/reading.
