Choose your own story books for boys?

Somebody mentioned the Rainbow 'choose your own story' books on another thread.

Does anybody know if you can get a boys version of these books. It's not me being stereotypical, DS would not read books with fairies in if I bought him them! But I do think he would love it if he could decide where the story goes....

How old is your DS? I bought a set of Dr Who ones from Book People recently.

He's 4 but has a reading age of 7. How scary are the Dr Who books?!

I don't know as I gave them away as a gift - I suspect they would be a bit too scary though.
