SO over Thomas the Tank stories. What next?

for DS age 3.10yrs.

We have discovered Hairy Mclary and loving it.
What else do you suggest?

anything really as long as it's not thomas the bleeding tank.

Usbourne Phonics Stories are fab. DS loved them.

Oh no the Phonics ones make me want to jump out the window. The Usborne Poppy and Sam farm stories are good though.

We love Hairy McLary too (DS is 3.5)

Have you discovered Alfie? Those stories are lovely.
And Dogger which is also by Shirley Hughes. It makes me laugh because the boy in it is called Dave (don't know why but I just can't imagine a smallboy called Dave).

If he's into trains The Little Red Train(fab pictures),Winnie the Witch,Gruffalo et al,Pants,Shark in the Park.... anything the world is your oyster. Just clearing out all things Thomas-yay!!!!!
