Did anyone's parents used to read them 'Vespers' as a child?

I just read it to my nephew before he went for an afternoon nap and i started filling up! I used to read it to ds1 when he was younger but avent heard it for ages. Made me all nostalgic as my mother used to read it out to my sister and me as little girls.
