Anybody read it?
It's one of the new books in our school library and my 9, nearly 10 year old checked it out yesterday.

It's listed as reading age 10-12 but I'm sad that she's reading it. Not because I think it's inappropriate or difficult but because I think it's the most beautiful and fantastic book that may be simple but deserves a much older mind to really appreciate it.

It's about a girl with aspergers whose brother has been killed in a school shooting. It's all told through her eyes and is absolutely fascinating. I listened to my daughter read the beginning before bed last night then sat up and read the whole thing myself.

Hugely recommend for any adult to read and any child above about 12. I think it's wasted on 10 year olds personally. Any opinions?

Wonderful book. Definitely for teens and not for 9-10 years olds. May have a 'reading' age of 10-12 but the 'content' age is for older readers.

Jackie Collins could be read by a 9-10 year old - doesn't mean that they SHOULD read it:)
