Has anyone else heard of 'My Angel Belle'? My daughter recently came home from school having been read the first three chapters of this book by her teacher. Her and her friends didn't stop talking about it. So we then had to go onto Amazon to buy the rest of the book for £2. As a debut book I have to say it was pretty good. It's based on two 11 year old best friends, Beth and Angel. Angel ends up dying of cancer, but leaves behind a little wooden box for Beth with 5 items in it that help her friend put together the peices of her broken life. Daughter thought it was fab (but a word of warning - you may need a packet of tissues handy) :)
