Any ideas what this book is......?

I have a memory of a book I loved as a child and want to get a copy for my DD1 but cannot remember what it is called.
It's about a girl (I think) who wants to get her mum a really good present but she doesn't know what to buy.
On each page she says she wants to get something of a particular colour and gets ideas. She always ends up choosing some fruit of that colour and at the end she has collected a fruit basket which she gives as the gift.

I realise that this is a pretty lame explanation but is anyone could help I would be really grateful! If not, then my mum is going to search her attic to try and find it but this may take some time

Afraid I can't help, but have you got any proper old-fashioned book shops or libraries near you? Could be worth asking someone in one of those places.

Mr Rabbit and the Lovely Present. I had it as a child, and was delighted to find it was in print again. The DCs weren't impressed, though....

That sounds like a really sweet book. And on the 'Customers who bought this also bought' bit they've got Harry the Dirty Dog, which I highly recommend :)
