Third degree tear and recovering from pain

Dear Friends,

I had my baby 12 weeks back and had a severe tear 3rd degree. I was recovering well for 2 weeks. Then a severe pain started soon after i cleared my bowels, and i was told that i am having a fissure, and have been applying rectogesic for the past 4 weeks. I see some improvement in the pain. Also i often get a poking pain in the perinium. Its like the stiches are hurting me. I am not able to walk comfortably, and when the fissure pain starts i get even worse. The GP has suggested to have a examination under general anesthetic in the next two eeks time, not sure whether i will end in a surgery.

Please help me making my mind strong, as i am really down and helpless with my newborn. Will i ever get back to normal again?
