ds2 was born nearly 10 weeks ago and had good quick birth. afterward when mw checked me she said i had a tiny cut and that it'f heal better left to heal naturally so i was v pleased after having stitches after ds1. anyway have been checkimg the 'scar' and doesnt look right at all and dont know if i should worry or not? sorry if this gets abit tmi but here goes:

the area around my back passage looks ok (apart from piles!) and around the edge of my fanjo again looks ok but just below it is like a little buldge? a few days after having ds2 i asked mw to check as it looked like a little pile near my fanjo, she said it was fine and was just how its healing. now im not sure... doesnt hurt to touch but it still is stickinh out. havent yet tried sex as bit worried about it..

If I were you I would just call the MW and get them to check it again, explain you aren't happy with things down there and want a 2nd opinion.

I had a bad tear and had them check it a couple of times when I wasn't sure. I also had a little bulge that seemed like a pile, It's still kind of there but causes no pain and has been checked by a consultnat at the hospital too when they were doing further checks. I turned out that it healed really well but no harm in getting it looked at, thats what they're there for

Hi, I tore (2nd degree) giving birth and refused to be stitched (long story!). Anyway it took about 8 weeks to heal - I went to the doctors twice with it because I was worried and he said it was healing but was taking it's time. I also noticed a little buldge just where you're saying and tbh it's still there now. Doesn't hurt and hasn't been any problem sex-wise.

Sorry, I don't really know what the bulge is?! I think it's just the way the tissue has come back together iyswim but not had that confirmed by anyone.

I still say get it checked if it's concerning you but I certainly don't think it's unusual.
