does this sound like things are imminent? Or could this go on for weeks?

Apparently baby is engaging and am now 38+4. Please tell me it means the end is nigh!

It's really quite uncomfortable - and I seem to be needing to wee almost every ten minutes!

I had this and presumed it was hiccups or something, felt like baby had turned and was kicking downwards but baby is definatly head down and engaged. Wonder if it's a hand and they are punching?

I used to get feelings like that at the end of my last pregnancy when my LO had hiccups or the fidgets. He used to scratch too

I have got this I am 38+4 also and have been in so much pain with it. I could go from sitting completly normal to having to lift myself off my seat to try and ease the feeling although it doesn't work

My midwife has said that it is pelvic gurdle whatever that is

Oh, I've heard of that pelvic girdle thing. Bugger. So it isn't the wee one trying to get out then. Are you really fed up now as well, iliketosleep?

Scratching and punching eh? As if we don't have enought to put up with!

I had this. A late scan revealed ds1 had his hands over his head! Explained a lot of funny feelings - sometimes it was like he was trying to scratch his way out.

Funny how you forget things.
