I'm a FTM due on 19th December and am super nervous about him coming on Christmas Day! I know it'll be magical afterwards but the whole thought of giving birth on Christmas Day sending my anxiety through the roof! Blush

I'm hoping he'll be a few days early!

Anyone else in the same boat or anyone have any tips to make him come a few days early? Grin

Please no negative comments, I know he'll come when he's ready, just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same or had any previous experiences or tips x

I had my DS2 on Christmas day and honestly it was lovely - hospital nice and quiet, staff festively dressed (they even gave us a little present). Bonus was I was home for dinner with DS1 and familyGrin

I’m due the same time and I’m not really phased. I’d rather give birth on another day, but whatever happens happens, I guess. There’s no much you can do to avoid it, so I wouldn’t worry too much.

I'm due a ds on 22nd December and I'm worrying about having hom on christmas day, but mainly because my partner loves Christmas and its a big deal in our house, and i also dont want dd to miss out potentially spending the day with us because we will be in the hospital. but what will be will be, I just hope if I havent gone into labour by 24th that he stays put til 27th lol

I had my baby on Christmas day 2019! I was desperate not to have him then (I was due Dec 13th so I thought there was enough gap) but you can't control these things unfortunately.
Sadly in my experience everything in the hospital was shut and they'd stopped serving food by the time I had him so my mum delivered me a turkey sandwich. But he did get a lovely gift and the hospital was nice and quiet.
We've decided he can have a birthday party and present from us on his half birthday so he gets to have a special celebration of his own when he's old enough. It's not the huge deal I made it out to be. X

I'm due Christmas Day and would ideally like to not have a Christmas Day baby if I can! However me and DH have decided to make the whole month of December extra Christmassy and have a proper Christmas dinner the first weekend, just in case we miss out on the day! DD will be 14 month then too so excited to do lots of Christmas things with her as my mat leave starts end of Nov!
