Sweep talk!

40+2 weeks pregnant and had my 4th sweep at 10:30 this morning, all my other sweeps I've had a bit of period pain and a bit pressure and lost my plug about 2 weeks ago. But after this sweep I've had really bad period and back pains that dont seem to go away much, also had a small amount brown/pinky discharge. Has anyone else had this experience and gone into labour? I'm just wondered as my partner is 30/40 mins away at work and worrying he'll not make it as my second was very fast. Thank you

Yes - sweep at 1.45pm followed by all the symptoms you describe. Was in established labour that evening and baby arrived following morning. Realise this post might now be too late though?!
