Hi so I've just found out I'm pregnant at 39, I have to children already, 18 and 10, big gaps Hmmare the risks much higher at this age? I'm excited but scared, also I took baby aspirin when pregnant with my children due to miscarriages before that, has anyone else? When did you start it? Smile

Hi hun i just had a baby at 38. My pregnancy was complecated for reasons not related to my age. But baby is here and fine i wasnt given asprin but had alot of checks due to high risk history.
Fyi my cousin had her only child at 42 no issues. You will be fine.
Good luck and congratulations xx

@lamypye I'm 39 and almost 37 weeks' with my third (first baby for fiancé). My two other kids are 10 and 12.5. Still classed as low risk in all areas.
I would say I've been much more tired in this pregnancy but then I've been working ft. Mentally I've coped much better as I have more confidence than I did in my 20's and a much more supportive partner.
All being well baby will be born at home, water birth 😊
