I had my baby just over three weeks ago and had to have an episiotomy. Unfortunately I lost a stitch quite quickly but had this checked out and was told it would heal fine and it definitely felt like it had started to, but over the last few days it's really sore again in the place where I lost the stitch originally
I've been bathing in lavender which was recommended by the midwife post birth but is there anything else I can do? It just feels like a deep graze down there and hurts to sit down which I didn't expect 3 weeks post labour. I have booked a GP app but I couldn't get in for 2 weeks
I also haven't passed a solid stool since giving birth - should I be worried?
Any advice would be much appreciated - thank you x
