Due to medical complications and a big baby I am to be induced in a few days at 39 weeks. (Eek)
Obviously I've googled it and was surprised to read this study: https://www.nih.gov/news-events/news-releases/induced-labor-39-weeks-may-reduce-likelihood-c-section-nih-study-suggests
Apparently induction at 39 weeks can reduce the chances of cs, bp issues and does not increase the chances of complications for new borns. The study is based on healthy pregnancies and babies. Unfortunately, we don't entirely fit into that category but it fills me with hope.
I thought I'd post it here for anyone in a similar position
