Hi all

I'm looking into options for a planned CS in a private london hospital and looking for reviews specifically on the Westminster Maternity Suite at St Thomas’ Hospital, and any of the obstetricians they have listed:

Kumar Kunde
Lawrence Mascarenhas
Eugene Oteng-Ntim
Dharmintra Pasupathy
Gabriella Gray
Con Kelleher

Thanks very much! :)

Hi, just wondering which consultant you have chosen and I hope your experience was great?

Thank you. May I ask if you saw him right from the beginning of the pregnancy or later on before your due date? Were you happy with midwives and nursery before and after giving birth?

I started seeing him around week 14 but you could start later, I think fee wise it doesn’t make much difference. It was nice seeing him throughout my pregnancy as it meant I really trusted him to deliver my baby safely. I was happy with midwives generally, especially the midwife looking after me after my section. The only thing I would say is that the night shift didn’t seem as good the the day shift- as I understand there was shortage of staff due to Covid. My husband also had to leave in the evening (officially he was supposed to leave at 5 pm but he always managed to stay an extra 2-3 hours before being kicked out). That was the worst bit. Overall I’m really happy with the care received and will be going with the same consultant for any future pregnancies. Also the view from the rooms is amazing!
