Had a sweep today as I'm past my due date but i really don't want to be medically induced, so what are your success stories in going into labour after this?? I'm super nervous and just want to start now so really hoping there are some good success stories!!

I had one and nothing happened for DD2 - didn't feel a thing. Had one for DS2 - it hurt and I was immediately uncomfortable. That was a friday morning, went into hospital at 2am on the sunday and he was born at 6am.

I had a sweep on Saturday. It worked! The midwife told me to go for a long walk and bounce on the ball. I did both and started getting contractions about 8/9 hours later and baby was born 12 hours later. I would have been induced 3 days later.
Sweep also worked on my first child, but not my second (induction).
