Hello everyone,
I'm a Master's student at UCL and I'm currently looking for interviewees for research into experiences of homebirth and understandings of home. The study aims to find out what meanings people who choose to give birth at home attach to the concept of home. I hope that this research will enable a fuller understanding of what home means to people and how these meanings are created.
I am looking to carry out short interviews (half an hour to an hour long) with women in the south of England who have given birth at home in the last five years. I would also like to interview their partners separately, but women can still participate alone. The interviews will likely take place during May and June, ideally in the interviewee’s home, although they can be undertaken elsewhere if you'd like.
If you would like to participate, or would like more information, feel free to contact me by private message.
All the best,
Cara.
