Gestational diabetes and labour snacks

So last time I was in labour it was pretty quick and I didn't really eat but I remember sucking on sweets and drinking lucozade. Obviously I don't want my blood sugar rising when I'm in labour so just wondered if anyone could recommend some good snacks? Hopefully it will be as quick as last time but you never know!

Pepperami, mini baby bell, fridge raiders, make some little egg &a ham muffins, nature valley protein bars if you can tolerate them, Nairns oat cakes, especially the choc chip or ginger ones. No calorie Lucozade actually tastes no different, you can get it in orange or pink lemonade.

Good luck, I go in to be induced on Tuesday so will be stocking up tomorrow!
