I am terrified, having a c-section tomorrow for my twins.
We will finally get to know the sex of the babies.
My other two DCs are SO excited they packed their bags to go and stay at MILs with no fuss because the quicker they get there the quicker I can go have their siblings apparently Hmm
But oh my God two babies. It feels like it has only just hit me now that their will be two of them.
I am excited but terrified all at the same time.

Oh, bless you-your head must be all over the place!
How old are your older two children?

Report
wilddogbert · 03/12/2014 17:24

They are 12 and 7 so old enough to help out a bit luckily. They are super excited bless them. Especially the 7 year old who has marked the day on his advent calendar and added some presents for the babies on his Christmas list because they weren't here when we sent the letters to santa.

Oh wow. How exciting
No practical advice but good luck and keep us posted.
Are they identical twins?

Wow, very exciting :)

My friend had her second child when her first was 11, and said it was so much easier than the first time round, because her 11 year old was so up for helping. Nappy-changing time for example, she'd be at her side, with nappy and wipes on hand, she was really keen to be involved :)

Congratulations! You'll be fine, you've done it twice before. Some of us learn this stuff with two babies at once, that really is terrifying! Grin

Good luck Thanks

My twin girls are 2.2 now and I remember their birth like it was yesterday. Having two babies is weird and I still find myself looking at mine and thinking "wow, I have two babies!"

Are your older DC's boys or girls?

It must be terrifying... But equally... How exciting Grin congratulations!!

I have one girl and one boy.
The twins are identical so we will have either two girls or two boys.
We have a short list names but we won't decide properly till we see them.

Thank you all for your kind words, and personal experiences. I am still absolutely terrified but not much I can do about it now Smile

My id girls are 6 months now and it still terrifies me Grin
So far it hasn't been as bad as i imagined it being. I have 3 older dcs who were excited to see the new arrivals and have been helpful (ish) since. How many wks will they be? I'm impressed you've got all the way through without finding out the sex especially with the number of scans you get.

No slightly, and curious, you read correctly the first time, Wild is going in tomorrow, thursday, for the birth.

She doesn't know yet if they're boys or girls.

Hope everything goes perfectly for you Wild.

Hi all
Thank you so much
So I have two VERY cute baby boys. Grin

Yes it was hard to not know the sex. But we found out with our older DCs so we tried extra hard not to find out and it was really worth the extra effort.
