My mw gave me a leaflet saying from 34 weeks ... 10 min a day. Lucky so and sos allowed not to be ungainly and uncomfortable for five But everyone else seems to say 5!

My MW said from 36 weeks and 5 to 10 minutes daily will do. I done this before DD1 and had no tear at all. I'm doing it again this time but not as frequently, fingers crossed I've done it enough. Due on Sunday!

When I asked my midwife about perineal massage she was hopeless. Didn't offer any leaflets or advice.

I tried but bump was too big and I couldn't really reach. wich I had gotten OH to lend a hand as I tore very badly!

Never done it and didn't tear. I had a water birth though - apparently it helps.
