Broad ligament hematoma?

On the off chance, has anyone else had an early delivery due to broad ligament hematoma? I had emergency c-section at 35 weeks. I'd especially like to hear from anyone who went on to have another baby xxx

Hi, I know this is an old post and i can't really help with what you want to know but i had a broad ligament hematoma after or possibly started during childbirth as things went wrong very quickly after i had my baby. i've searched everywhere for answers or people who have had a similar experience and there is nothing anywhere! i know it is very rare but i just cant find any discussion on it anywhere! I had a natural normal birth, not even a tear and yet i developed a broad ligament hematoma 1.5 litres in size, horrendus pain after a pain relief free back to back labour! anyway if you find anything out about further risks or later pregnancies let me know! i want another baby but they have said they can't tell me why i had the hematoma or the chances of it happening again in labour. they have no idea how it happened in such an uneventful labour. i lost so much blood and was in shock and nearly died it was the scariest thing i've ever experienced. my bp dropped and i was rushed to theatre but they managed to drain it through the top of my vagina. I made a quick recovery although later the hole it had made filled up again with the old blood and got infected, another litre of fluid was drained through my tummy i was in hospital on and off and missed the first month with my baby and still trying to make sense of it all. if you get this do you know what caused your broad ligament hematoma and how did they fix it and did you have any complications as a result of it. i cant find anyone who has had anything even similar happen so hope you might get this or someone else who has been through similar.
