Hi
I am abit concerned about my 3 year old son. I got a call from the Nursery today saying that he is very hyper and had to be taken into the office to calm down. This is not the first time I’ve had a report like this, they’ve usually been about his temper and he doesn’t like to be told “no” it’s always been in the back of my mind if he is mentally ok. Sounds horrible but I can’t help but wonder, anyways something came over me at the nursery today and I asked the manager if I should have my son checked over, she said yes but it was not something that she wanted today to me and she was waiting for me to basically bring it up. My son is not naughty. He loves his friends and his cousins, he often gives hugs and kisses to me and his dad and he is very energetic. However sometimes when he doesn’t get his own way he has no limits at all, there’s just no reasoning with him and it’s hard. I will speak with the manager tomorrow to see how I can go about having him assessed because I don’t want him to start school next year and he has not broken out of this ‘habit’ or even tried methods to keep it under control.
Sorry for the long paragraph
Any advice is welcome.
Please don’t judge me
