do you need to follow any regulations to sell your eggs on?

sign on a table out of front of house type thing?

I am inundated with eggs!

you have to follow Defra's guide to farm gate sales, which are basically, you can't grade your eggs, you can't sell them as part of another business (eg, you can't sell them to your local shop to sell on), you have to use new boxes each time (but customers can bring in their boxes for you to refill)
