Start using Mumsnet PremiumSteadi vs Stages
(3 Posts)Thanks. I intend to use rear facing only. Guess I'll go with the stages.
The Steadi has a much smaller shell than the Stages so whether forward of rear facing, it will outgrown by height for most children long before they reach 18kg. The Stages is much more roomy and therefore will last much longer.
Obviously it's safer to have both seats rear facing but they also fit most cars much better rear facing so check they fit your car properly if you intend to use them forward facing. If they are only going to be used forward facing, there may be seats which have a much better fit.
Is there much difference between these seats in forward facing mode up to 18kg? I realize the stages can be used as a hbb after that but I wondered if that was the only difference...
