axkid minikid in London or Kent?(3 Posts)
I'm interested in one of these but I was advised by the lovely lady at Securatot that I should try before I buy due to possible legroom issues (I'm tall..)
It needs to go in the middle seat of my ageing 2006 Mercedes C Class so I can fit a high backed booster each side. Apparently the seat space/belt access for the 3 seats is less of a problem than the legroom issues caused by the rear-facing seat. Any suggestions of London or Kent stockists who'd let me try it? Or has anyone successfully had this in a smallish car in the middle row/behind drivers seat and there's been enough legroom for a tall driver? (I'm 6'1) Or, any suggestions if you've used something similar that has a smaller size?! (youngest has just turned 2).
Thanks for any help/advice!
Margaret at Rear Facing Toddlers sells the Axkid Minikid or the new Wolmax (the same seat just with a few less bells and whistles, it's cheaper than the Minikid), she does home visits. Scroll down to the bottom of the page I've linked to for details.
Brilliant - thanks so much. Hadn't heard of the other, and very happy to pay less!
