Britax Evolva 123 or dedicated HBB wwithout harness?

DD is 3.5, average height and just over 16kg. She has grown out of her erf car seat. The straps are a struggle to do up and she gets pins and needles in her feet. She also has a nasty habit of slipping her arms out of the harness.

For this last reason I thought dhe might be best with a hbb and seatbelt but since she is still unfer 18kg would I be better keeping her in a harness? My concern is she will move up to the hbb setting quite soon anyway so is three evolva in hbb setting as good as a dedicated hbb?

It looks more like a group 1 seat in the pictures is all.

If your DD is only 3 1/2 and weighs less than 18kgs I would definitely keep using a 5-point harness. This is why www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.414443542032834.1073741882.282362311907625&type=3

My youngest is in an ERF seat (she'll be 3 at the beginning of April), but for my son who is now 9 I had the Britax Evolva. I only used it as a HBB for a short time before buying a dedicated Group 2-3 high backed booster. My reason for doing this was that the seatbelt did not run freely through the red shoulder guide on the Evolva - if DS leant forward out of the seat (which he did quite a bit at first, once he discovered the freedom of movement that the seatbelt gave him compared to being pinned back by a harness) the seatbelt did not retract when he sat back and was left loose across his chest.

The problem was that even when he was 4 (and he has always been on the tall side for his age) the headrest on the Evolva was still quite low down and this was what was stopping the seatbelt moving freely. I worked out that he was going to have to be at least 7 before the headrest would be high enough up to be free of the 'body' of the seat and allow the seatbelt to run clearly through the red guide.

Just my thoughts!
