Bee Plus car seat, is it only Maxi Cosi that is compatible or are there other options?

I have a Bee Plus but am a complete novice in the car seat department.

I am looking to buy a Maxi Cosi Cabriofix or Citi SPS but are these definitely the only two compatible car seats?

I just need one I can fasten into the car with a seat belt and no base at all as it would be moved from one car to another very regularly (live in London so use taxi's a lot).

Any help would be appreciated TIA!

It would be easier for you if you did have a base I'd have thought. It takes about two seconds to take out/put in a seat on a base but more if it's belted. The Maxi Cosi Pebble is also compatible. All of them can (I've never come across one that can't) be belted as well as fixed with a base.

We use a family car about once a week and sometimes once a fortnight so didn't think it would really matter not having a base. We use various different vehicles too so thought we would be using a seatbelt more often than not IYSWIM.

In your opinion is it still worth getting the base? This is my first time ever buying a car seat so honestly have no clue

If it's going in lots of different cars then a base probably isn't worth it. I got one for my sister's car when my daughter was 4 months because her seatbelts were too short to go round my carseat. Before then it hadn't bothered me not having one but it was a lot easier with one. If you were swapping between two cars every day or two, then I'd say it might be worth getting two bases but it's a lot of expense if you're not swapping them very often.

I never had a base for mine - takes about 30-60 seconds to fit, maybe, without one? I never had a problem in taxis etc either :) I'd go for whichever seat has a longer back so that you can use it for the longest possible time, as rear facing is safer.

For the next stage BTW I'd definitely consider one of the seats with an impact shield, like the Kiddy ones, because they are way easier and quicker to fit than other group 1 seats.
