Right have a tent, where to go??

I got a little 4 birth tent on ebay locally. IT looks lovely and will do us for now, although still after a trailer tent asap

Now we want to go away on 31st of this month to try it out. Dont want to go too far. We live it Herts. Now looked at one site on Mersea island, but fully booked, and also like look of billing aquadrome, although a little worried about DD2 and water!

Anyone recommend somewhere??
Is it worth having electric?
Hardstanding or grass?
