Tent pegs... are the standard metal ones alright for summer camping?

going to Holmsley - don't know if it's grass or stony - think it's grass...

will the bog standard pegs be alright or do I need to shell out for some posh ones?

If so, what ones? where from? how much are they?

well, first in this tent - second over-all since being a parent (other escipades from days as a child)

I just heard speak of some other kinds of pegs (other shapes, I guess) on ukcampsite... it got me wondering whether it was a necessity or a "if you have the money..." thing really!

Buy storm pegs, not expnsive and well worth it if the wind gets up (we bought us the day after a very windy night in may and they made the tent feel more stable! Do not need a lot , think we have 10)

Ours look like this, although from a different shop, they are trianglular and easy to put in. Only £2.99 for 10 so not bank breaking!
