Possibly the best showers and loos in the North!!

Just got back from here in North Yorkshire and for those of you looking for decent showers it is the place for you! Amazing ameneties block with 8 loos in the ladies plus curtained off sinks and then sinks in the main area. Showers were amazingly clean too and free!! It was a huge modern block although for some reason did remind me of the toilets in BHS

Atually pretty good site all together - beautiful location, play area, quiet after 10.00 and river behind where you can paddle and swim. The only down side was the midges which were just awful - so bad on Friday night that we couldn't sit out and had to sit in the car once the DSes had gone to bed!

Oh yes -- we have been there and it is indeed a fabulous site. The river is wonderful for paddling and swimming, and is not so close to the pitches that you need to worry about safety of little ones. The staff were very helpful to me, in my camping numptiness.
