Camping in France. What is the cheapest way to get here from Belfast? with 2 kids

Package holiday seems too expensive in July around £1700 for 4. We are thinking one of these supertents in France. Not sure best way of getting there. If we fly to Paris or Toulouse does anyone know of any campsites near airports so to limit travel time. Package holiday with 2 1/2 year old terrible tantrumer doesn't seem like good idea. Trying to think of other types of holiday. Any ideas appreciated - or any other method of travel to get there. Not too good on routes etc.

fly to rennes, brittany there are loads of lovely campsite round about. are you doing fly drive? tbh it probably won't work out any cheaper. we normally drive and take our own tent.

Or you could fly to nantes. Would you hire a car? Opens up more options!

Canvas do 2 sites near paris ( and disney!) berny Riviere and camping les etangs fleuris (where I'm going tomorrow!!!) They both do Disney trips and it's easy to get to Disney from Paris.
