We cannot afford to go abroad this year-help us find somewhere fabulous in the UK please!!!

We normally go to france but this year that is out, my dh is might hacked off at the thought of a year with no holiday so is there anywhere lovely in the UK (we are in Essex) that is quiet, peaceful near a beach (possibly naturist beach too)
We went to Studland bay quite a few years ago that was good but we stayed in a hotel, we want to camp really now.
Also we did Mersy Island a few years back and it was truly awful, loud, lots of drinking and the subsequent antisocial behaviour, just really the brit abroad senario but in the UK! not our cup of tea at all.

Any ideas folks?

Alot of the beaches on the west / north coast of Wales are lovely for camping. Not sure any of them are naturist.

The naturist part is important form the beach aspect-not the whole holiday! Just dont like swimwear and tanlines!

as it comes really, have to say amenities are not a huge issue-a loo and a shower would be good.
