Would really appreciate some advice please. DD aged 16 and her friend are off to the Reading Festival next week. What size and type of tent would you recommend and what other stuff will they need. Many thanks.

Get a cheap tent! DS had graffiti added to his tent which made it very unsuitable for any family Camping afterwards!

There is a massive Tesco over the road from the campsite that will sell anything they have forgotten. The stacks of alcohol in the doorways are a sign the festival is coming!

Local churches do a lot too, this is from one:

Caveesham Baptist Church will be providing clean toilets, free wi-fi, mobile charging areas as well as meals throughout the weekend.
All food and soft drinks are free of charge, with the church open from Thursday, August 23 until Sunday, August 26 between 9.30am and 2.30pm. As well as serving breakfast and lunch, the church also acts as a place to get away from it all for a while in a quiet space.

Hope she has an amazing time
