North Morte Farm - beautiful campsite on a cliff overlooking the sea. Great facilities, a shop and kids play area. A fish n chip van visits once a week. You can access a private beach (Rockham bay) from the campsite and Woolacombe (big long sandy beach) is within walking distance. The village of Morthoe itself has a coupe, of lovely pubs.

Forest Glade has an indoor pool with separate toddler area, games room (pool, table tennis etc...) indoor soft play, outdoor play area with zipline, tennis court (racket and balls available from reception) and football pitch.
There's a small shop open from 8.30am daily (9am onSundays)with all the basic holiday essentials. Also available are pocket money toys, postcards etc.... Reception will happily post any postcards or letters. There's a small collection of 'borrow and return' library books too.
Freshly baked baguettes are available to order daily, along with croissants, pain au chocolat and sausage rolls. Take away food is available from 5.30pm daily for about an hour, or more in high season (closed Sundays).
In the amenities building there are free hot showers, washing up sinks and a coin-operated laundry room. There is also a family shower room with toilet, parent and baby room and disabled room with shower, toilet and wash basin.
In the campers kitchen there's a microwave, kettle and toaster and well as a veg prep sink. A freezer for ice packs is in the Tourist Information Room.
An nice extra touch is the Wildlife Information Room where there are details about local wildlife, activities for the children and information about recent wildlife sightings in the area. There's also a self guided nature trail.
The campsite has lockable bike storage. If you don't take your own bikes, you can hire. Abbotshood Cycle Hire will deliver bikes to the campsite.
Unfortunately it's half an hour drive to the beach' but it's a large sandy beach and one of the best in Devon.

Slapton is lovely! It's a little out of the way but it's clean and the staff are friendly. They have a park on site if you have children?! They have a little shop, a bakery in the mornings and a chip van at the weekend. There is a pebble beach nearby and dartmouth is a short drive.
