Just bought a 20 year old DeWaard - I think I’ve gone mad!

Well after weighing up an albatros without vario and an ESVO tunnel, I thought I’d settled on the tunnel.

But just as I went to bed last night, one of the Facebook sellers mentioned that he had an albatros with vario to sell. And I got myself first on the list for pics and price.

It has everything except the dividing curtains, but that’s okay, because everything includes the inner tent! Inner tent, mesh door, two storage panels, 4 side panels, xl sun canopy, and the vario! Okay it’s 20 years old and a bit discoloured, but the canvas is still strong and in good condition.

I pretty much gave DH 2 minutes to okay it. Fortunately he trusts me research skills.

I’m so freaking excited, but I also think I’ve gone slightly insane. I can’t believe what I’ve just spent on a second hand tent! We’re going to love it, right? The 3 DSs love camping, and I can drink wine and read a book under my vario and it’ll be okay. It’ll be fine.
