Where to camp with a baby and 5 year old

Hello.
I am looking for some advice for UK camping holidays!
We love camping and have been a few times with our son and he enjoyed it as much as us. We will also be taking an 11 month old with us and are restricted to August time. We have never explored the UK with kids, apart from Cornwall and as much as we love it there would like to try somewhere different. Pre kids we went to Scotland and had a great time. We are driving from the south but happy to have a long drive or stop overnight. What areas would you recommend for kids that age?We like beaches but also walking, visiting stately homes etc. We were thinking the Lake District. I am a little apprehensive about camping with a baby but I have been assured it is not as difficult as I am thinking it will be!

We stayed at the Cotswold Farm Park over half term and it was really good.
Big pitches right next to some sheep/goats/cows. A little farm shop on site and a milk machine for fresh milk. And if you pay to get into the park once you get a pass card for free entry for the rest of your stay. That was a god send as DH took the DTs (nearly 4) in and out a few times a day to play on the big park/tractor rides/hold a bunny/play in the sand etc.

The only down side was the showers were those annoying ones you have to push in and it dribbles for 1 min and then stops, then you push again and repeat millions of times until clean!

It's also near quite a few stately homes and National Trust properties (worth it if you are members).
