Please help! Touring or siting a caravan?

We have been touring with our caravan for years and years but due to new work commitments we are not able to take any leave for some time. This leaves us with being limited to Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon to enjoy camping. Does any one site their van? And if so is this of benefit for getting away promptly on a Friday without having to collect from storage, hitch and tow etc to a location. Also what kind of prices would we pay? Thanks
