Ha ha - I bought something like this a couple of years ago and then got a grip and sent it back!

I guess it depends on your trip - it could be very handy. We tend to put up a washing line when we camp in France, and in the UK just hang things in the tent (in UK never go for long enough to be that organised!)

It's just that I can get so wound up by the mess of coats and such lying around in the corners. And we could hang wet towels on it too...
