Does anyone have a Wild Country Etesian 6 tent?

Thinking about buying one and wondering if anyone has one as I can't find any reviews? Thanks.

We have a wild country camplite (5) which is similar, think it was the model before. Wild country are a very good brand, they are a sister company to Terra Nova which does a lot of expedition camp tents. The camplite is very light, so ideal for touring. The bedrooms are quite narrow, in comparison to say Outwell tents but ok for SIMs.

Thanks for your help Prof Smile. We have had a trisar for about 15 years and loved it but now looking for a bigger lightweight family tent. Just a bit worried because the Laser Space 5 didn't have taped seams and they told us wasn't that long lasting (despite being £900). We tend to camp in Scotland and don't want anything that can't cope with the wind and rain we sometimes get and so the fact that they keep calling it a weekend tent makes me wary and needing reassurance!

I think the weekend part would be down to 'space'. We went from a wild country monsoon 4 to the camplite as we wanted something we could stand up in and have a bit of sitting space if it was raining. We have 3 children, but they were quite young then. We have used it for up to 3 weeks as a time, it's great for touring as it was 10-15 mins set up (we tend to fit in 5-6 campsites). Last year we were doing a different sort of camping- staying for more nights in fewer places, plus the kids got bigger so we added a vango closed extension which fitted really well. (we got a vango 400, as the best fit). You could use a tarp for extra space too.

We also considered a khamsin but they were out of stock when we purchased which helped- we were torn between the two. Incidentally we have since bought another tent- a polycotton eureka number (finally persuaded DH from wild country!) but we can't find the courage to get rid of the camplite as it fills a niche for that 'quick' light tent.

Hi There, I have a camplite 5 and have been looking for a canopy to fit for a while. Can you let me know the exact model of the Vango 400 closed extension? and it it a front or side canopy?
DH needs to be convinced before I can go ahead and buy a canopy.
I'd be ever so grateful.
